Telangana government releases Rs 2 crore for Peddagattu Jatara
The biennial Jatara is all set to begin in February
Hyderabad : The State government on Tuesday sanctioned and released Rs 2 crore for conducting the biennial Peddagattu Jatara of Sri Lingamanthula Swamy at Durajpally in Suryapet.
The funds have been released under 'Special Development Fund for Welfare and Developmental Activities' for the year 2020-21.
The Suryapet District Collector had sought funds with a list of works to be taken up department-wise for conducting the Jatara, which is scheduled to be held in February.
The Suryapet District Collector has been authorised to draw and incur the expenditure for the works taken up in connection with the Jatara as per the departmental guidelines and furnish utilisation certificate after the completion of Jatara.
