Telangana: House collapse in Nizamabad kills three
Telangana: Three people were dead and three others sustained serious injuries after a house in the dilapidated state collapsed in Thagilepalli village of Varnia mandal in Nizamabad district on Friday morning.
Telangana: Three people were dead and three others sustained serious injuries after a house in the dilapidated state collapsed in Thagilepalli village of Varnia Mandal in Nizamabad district on Friday morning. The deceased were identified as Lakshmi, her husband Srinivas and their six-month-old son.
While Lakshmi and the boy died on the spot, Srinivas succumbed to injuries while being treated in Nizamabad government hospital. The other three victims were undergoing treatment in the hospital. The police registered a case and an investigation is underway.
On April 27, a youngster died on the spot while his mother suffered serious injuries after a portion of the roof of their house caved in. The incident occurred at Mangalhat in Hyderabad when the rains accompanied by the strong winds lashed the city. The deceased was identified as Inder Singh.
A similar incident was reported where two persons suffered injuries when a portion of asbestos sheet roof fell on them due to heavy rains in Old City in Hyderabad. The injured were identified as Gulnaz and Mohd Sadiq.
