Medak: The Telangana State Formation Day celebrations were organised on a grand note here on Sunday. All the government offices were illuminated, and the fete was held in villages. Kavi Sammelan and Mushaira were also organised on the occasion.
District Collector Dharma Reddy, who participated as chief guest of the event praised the role of poets during the Telangana struggle. He urged them to bring change in the society through poetry.
