Three peddlers held with 20kg ganja
Prohibition and Excise police on Tuesday nabbed three ganja peddlers at LB nagar junction and seized 20 kg dry ganja worth Rs 2 lakh from their possession.
Hyderabad: Prohibition and Excise police on Tuesday nabbed three ganja peddlers at LB nagar junction and seized 20 kg dry ganja worth Rs 2 lakh from their possession.
The accused persons, resident of Araku in Vishakhapatnam district, had brought the contraband to Secunderabad railway station. The accused were identified as L Balaraju, K Kishore and P Surya.
P Sreedhar, Excise inspector, RR zone said that on receipt of information that three persons were transporting ganja in a bus from Vishakhapatnam to Secunderabad they arrested the trio and seized 20 kg dry ganja worth Rs 2 lakh.
The trio was about to sell the contraband to few unknown persons at Secunderabad railway station for Rs 10,000 per kg. The arrested accused were produced ing the court.
