Time to speed up developmental works in Warangal
It’s high time to expedite ongoing developmental works, Warangal Urban District Collector Prashanth Jeevan Patil said. Conducting a review meeting on the progress of developmental works being carried in Warangal East constituency here on Tuesday, he told the officials to focus on speeding up the ongoing works.

Conducting a review meeting on the progress of developmental works being carried in Warangal East constituency here on Tuesday, he told the officials to focus on speeding up the ongoing works. "In addition to 19 developmental works carried under Smart Cities Mission funds and, five under Chief Minister's assurance funds, there was a necessity to take up the construction of four roads," he said.
Warangal East MLA Nannapuneni Narender said that tendering process for nine road works was completed. The detailed project report (DPR) for the five road works has been completed and they need technical clearances, he added. He sought the officials to complete the preparation of DPRs for other works as early as possible. The MLA said that there is an imperative need to focus on undeveloped areas in the constituency.
Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation (GWMC) commissioner N Ravi Kiran, SE Bikshapathy and Lee Associates team leader Anand Voleti were among others present.
