Hyderabad: Anil Kumar, Additional Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Hyderabad had issued traffic restrictions and diversion in the wake of proposed 'Maha Deeksha' at Indira Park by Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi (MRPS) activists in support of TSRTC workers on Sunday.

He said, the permission has not been given by the concerned authorities. The activists of the MRPS are likely to gather and create law and order problem and obstruct traffic in and around Indira Park.

To ease the traffic and for the convenience of the public, it is advised to take alternate routes as Indira Park road will be closed from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm on Sunday. Traffic coming from RTC crossroads towards Indira Park should take left or right turn at Ashok Nagar crossroads.

Traffic coming from Telugu Talli flyover should go straight taking Lower Tank Bund road and avoid taking right turn towards Indira Park.

Traffic coming from Vaartha lane should take LIC lane at Banda Maisamma crossroads. Traffic coming from Domalguda should take Street No. 5 & 6 of Himayathnagar.
