Transco chief D Prabhakar Rao visits power plant in Chintalapalem
Chairman and Managing Director of Transmission Corporation of Telangana Limited (TS-Transco) and Telangana State Power Generation Corporation Limited (TS-Genco) D Prabhakar Rao stated that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has been working with a vision from day one of formation of Telangana State to develop in all aspects.

On Tuesday, he examined the power plant of Pulichintala project located in Chintalapalem mandal in Suryapet district. Addressing the media, he said full-fledged power generation has been taking place in Srisailam and Nagarjunasagar and the Electricity department is ready to supply uninterrupted power to farmers and industries of the State through grids.
Directing the department officials to be alert in view of rains, he informed that reports of status of power plants are being submitted to the Chief Minister regularly.
