The TRS party has announced Sunil Rao as its candidate for the Karimnagar Mayor election, which will be held today after the swearing-in of the councillors.
The TRS party has announced Sunil Rao as its candidate for the Karimnagar Mayor election, which will be held today after the swearing-in of the councillors.
The party has secured 33 divisions in Karimnagar and the candidates will take oath today at 11 am. While the Mayor's election will be held at 12.30 pm. However, the TRS count touched 40 after seven independent candidates who won in the elections joined the ruling party.
Out of the total 60 seats in Karimnagar, TRS secured 33, 13 seats for BJP, MIM for seven and seven by independent candidates. The independent candidates joined TRS on Tuesday.
