TRS confident of 12, expects tough fight in four LS seats

Hyderabad: Telangana Rashtra Samiti leaders believe that the party would win at least 12 seats easily and expect tough fight in four seats with slight edge to the TRS candidates.
The party leaders are analysing the trends in various constituencies in the state. As per the reports, the TRS leadership expects clear victory in 12 constituencies and slight edge in favour of their candidates in four constituencies.
A senior TRS leader said that though the voting turnout has decreased in the Lok Sabha election compared to the Assembly elections, this would benefit the ruling party only.
According to the TRS leader, the party is slated to do well in Adilabad, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Peddapally, Medak, Zaheerabad, Warangal, Mahabubabad, Chevella, Mahbubnagar, Nagarkurnool and Malkajgiri. "Party will do well and win the seats easily in these constituencies.
The Congress and BJP would have to fight between themselves for the second sport," said the TRS leader. He further said that though the BJP has gained votes in the urban pockets, but these would not affect the chances of TRS.
The TRS leaders have been saying that they would win 16 out of the 17 Lok Sabha seats and the other would be won by its friendly party AIMIM. After the end of elections, TRS working president K T Rama Rao said that as per the update by the party leaders, TRS would be winning 16 seats.
The party expects tough competition in Secunderabad, Khammam, Nalgonda and Bhongir. While BJP is giving competition in Secunderabad, the Congress would give competition in remaining three seats, said the TRS leader.
The TRS leader said that these four seats are kept under competition because the difference between two parties is over or less than 10 per cent. The 10 per cent difference is in favour of TRS and the party may win this scenario.
According to sources, the TRS leaders believe that the there is a difference of 11 per cent between TRS T Sai Kiran Yadav and BJP's G Kishan Reddy. However, the party feels that being an urban seat there are 50 per cent chances.
The TRS leader further said, during the Assembly elections, the surveys showed 10 per cent difference in favour of G Kishan Reddy in Amberpet but he had to lose the election.
Similarly, there was a difference of 11 per cent in Goshamahal in favour of TRS candidate but Raja Singh of BJP was victorious.
The TRS leaders are hopeful that people of the state have voted to TRS as the party succeeded in taking the message of being a strong force in Delhi with 16 seats.
