KCR to chair Executive meeting tomorrow

Hyderabad: The State Executive Committee meeting of the Telangana Rashtra Samiti would discuss on strengthening the organisation by taking up a month-long membership drive and other issues when it meets at 2.30 pm at Telangana Bhavan on June 27.

TRS president and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao would chair the meeting and give necessary directions to the party leaders on taking forward the membership drive and also discuss different issues.

Along with the state executive members, the party has asked all the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha members to attend the meeting. Members of the TRS Legislature Party, including MLAs and MLCs, Corporation Chairpersons, elected Zilla Parishad Chairpersons have also been invited for the meeting.

This is the second meeting of the TRS leaders in a week's time chaired by KCR. He had recently addressed a meeting of state executive committee.

The meeting would discuss issues relating to the party membership drive and other issues. TRS party membership enrolment books would be given to the MLAs, Legislative Assembly segment incharges. The party has appointed one state committee leader as incharge for two Assembly constituencies.

These incharges would be coordinating with the MLAs and MPs to make sure more members get enrolled. The party would set up 11 counters at Telangana Bhavan where Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, all the ministers, MPs, MLAs, MLCs and other important leaders would renew membership of the party.

TRS MLC Karne Prabhakar said that after the successive elections, the chief minister has decided to strengthen the party.

The leaders will be given targets for. The chief minister would show the roadmap for the next five years.

The target is to complete the membership by one month. How to take up the construction of party offices as the designs would be given by the chief minister soon, said Prabhakar.

Meanwhile, the TRS leaders, including public representatives gave donations for the construction of party offices. Different leaders met TRS working president K T Rama Rao on Tuesday.

The TRS leaders MLCs P Satish, P Mahender Reddy, Bhanu Prasad Rao and MLA B Suman gave cheque of Rs 2.5 lakh each to KTR.
