About 72.5 per cent out of 70,120 available seats in 181 engineering colleges were allotted in the last phase of counselling. And 165 seats in Pharmacy and Pharm D were allocated to candidates while there were 3,959 seats in 119 pharmacy colleges.
The final phase of web counselling for engineering courses was held from October 30 to October 2. The seats were alloted to the students on November 13. The seats were allotted to candidates on the basis of rank secured by them in the entrance examination, option entered during the online counselling application and availability of seats.
Students who have been shortlisted in the second phase of counselling will have to confirm their admission online and pay the requisite fee by November 18.
