TSEC notifies elections for ZPPs and MPPs
The Telangana State Election Commission on Wednesday notified the elections for Mandal Praja Parishads and Zilla Praja Parishads.
Hyderabad: The Telangana State Election Commission on Wednesday notified the elections for Mandal Praja Parishads and Zilla Praja Parishads.
The TSEC, in separate notifications directed all the Collectors and District Election Authorities in the State to conduct elections of Members (Co-Opted), Chairpersons and Vice-Chairpersons of their respective Zilla Praja Parishads and also the Member (Co-opted), President and Vice-President of their Mandal Praja Parishads (except Mangapet MPP in Mulugu District, Burgampadu in Bhadradri Kothagudem and Jadcherla MPP in Mahabubnagar) in accordance with the procedure laid down in the rules.
As per the schedule, the MPP elections will be held on June 7 while the ZPP polls will be conducted on 8th June.
