TSRTC strike: Telangana govt extends Dasara holidays to Oct 19

In the view of the ongoing TSRTC strike, the chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has directed the officials to extend the Dasara holidays till October 19.

The decision has been taken by the chief minister to avoid inconvenience to the students as several buses confined to depots and not much buses are available. He also asked the officials to issue a notification.

Although the colleges were running, only a few per cent of attendance was recorded due to non-availability of the buses. However, the chief minister asked the officials to deploy more buses until the educational institutions reopen in the state.
