Two persons suspected to have contracted coronavirus (COVID-19) have been rushed to Hyderabad.

Warangal/Jangaon: Two persons suspected to have contracted coronavirus (COVID-19) have been rushed to Hyderabad. The doctors at the MGM Hospital referred the 24-year-old youth, who recently returned from Italy, to Gandhi Hospital in Secunderabad.

The youth, a resident of Girmajipet in the city, went to Italy for higher studies and came back to the city a week ago. Since then he has been suffering from cold and cough, it's learnt.

Against this backdrop, he approached the doctors at MGM Hospital on Thursday. According to MGM Hospital Superintendent Dr B Srinivasa Rao, the youth was sent to Gandhi Hospital after conducting preliminary tests. The youth was reportedly rushed to Gandhi Hospital.

In another case, a person, who very recently returned from Dubai, was suffering from severe cough and cold. The man, hailing from Lingala Ghanpur, approached the Jangaon Area Hospital on Friday.

After the doctors suspected him of contacting COVID-19, the man left the hospital in a hurry. However, he left for Gandhi Hospital after was convinced by the hospital staff.
