Two people from Hajipur of Mancherial were among the victims of Devipatnam boat capsize. Boddu Lakshman and Karukuri Ramya are sub-engineers in the electricity department.
With no information being received about the two, a pall of gloom descended at Nannuru and Karnamamidi villages. The family members of the victims are awaiting the information about the victims.
On Sunday, the boat 'Royal Vasista' with 61 passengers on board capsized in Godavari river at Devipatnam. Fourteen members are learned to have reached the shore and other 10 were rescued. Meanwhile, search operations are underway at Devipatnam.
