Hyderabad: An undertrial prisoner in Cherlapally Central Prison on Sunday night committed suicide at his barrack by hanging himself.
According to Kushaiguda police, the prisoner was identified as Shankar Naik (21). He was an undertrial prisoner in a case filed in Hayathnagar police for allegedly harassing a student girl.
He was found hanging with a bed sheet. Police shifted the body to Gandhi Hospital mortuary for post-mortem.
