Hyderabad: Technical glitches hits the popular websites of the world and many Google services including YouTube, Gmail, Google and Google Drive for a couple of minutes on Monday, netizens creates twitter trend trolling the websites and blaming the year '2020'' with fun and sarcasm. But, the sites were restored by the evening.
Many Google services including YouTube, Gmail, Google and Google Drive did not work for many users. Apart from these websites, even Google Play, Google Maps, Google Hangouts, Google Duo and Google Meet was not working for many users in the city.
Finally, 2020 gave one more memory to remember being the most unexpected year on record. When everyone just getting back to normalcy and 2020 shocked us with most unexpected crash happened: Google and YouTube (also owned by Google) have crashed. Downtimes are normal with online applications and this happens due to system bugs which interrupt information from remote servers.
YouTube has responded to its fans via their official Twitter handle. In its Tweet, Team YouTube said, "We are aware that many of you are having issues accessing YouTube right now – our team is aware and looking into it. We'll update you here as soon as we have more news" and after resolving the issue, the Team YouTube tweeted, "We are back up and running! You should be able to access YouTube again and enjoy videos as normal. In the meantime, Twitter flooded with trolls on 2020 with hashtags such as "#YouTubeDOWN #Google and #Gmail"
