Munugodu MLA Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy alleges that the party had put a meek show in Assembly elections due to the attitude of TPCC chief Uttam Kumar Reddy

Nalgonda: Munugodu MLA Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy reiterated that Congress cannot not come to power in the State under the inefficient leadership of Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee chief Uttam Kumar Reddy.

Addressing the media in Nalgonda on Thursday, he said Congress has no right to serve show cause notice to him. "Komatireddy brothers saved the Congress party in the State in difficult times," he added.

Taking a dig at party senior leader V Hanumantha Rao, Rajgopal Reddy said leaders who could not win as a ward member have started commenting on him.

"Congress high command after enquiring the caliber of Komatireddy brothers allocated seats to them during Assembly and Parliament elections. And we emerged victorious with the blessings of people," he asserted.

"Congress had put up a very meek show in Assembly elections due to the attitude of Uttam Kumar Reddy," he underlined.

He alleged match fixing between Uttam Kumar Reddy and Telangana Rashtra Samithi chief K Chandrashekar Rao that decimated Congress in the State.

Reiterating that BJP was the only alternative party to TRS in the State, he advised Congress leaders to change their attitude and group politics in the interest of the party.
