Vikarabad: Local police are at a loss over the ownership of a donkey. They are approached by two people claiming same donkey as their own. The two persons, along with the donkey and its foal, are making rounds to the local police station to decide who should possess it.

Banala Prabhu, a resident of Ramaiahguda in Vikarabad municipal limits, has been eking out a living by selling donkey's milk. Out of his 22 donkeys, four had gone missing for some time. He also lodged a complaint with the police.

Police informed him that it was difficult for them to launch search for the donkey but can help him get it back if he found it anywhere. After some time, Prabhu came to the police station and informed police that he had found one of his missing donkeys with a person in Mominpet.

Police brought that donkey to the Vikarabad police station. A woman called Padma, along with her father Sattaih, also reached the police station claiming that the donkey indeed belongs to them. With both parties arguing fiercely about the donkey, police are caught in a tricky situation. People are also watching the development keenly, wondering what decision the cops would arrive at – and how.
