Water bell rings in Agency schools

Kothagudem: The concept of water bell is picking up in the agency schools.

The water bell concept, where the bell rings thrice a day to remind students to take water, has been started in Bandarigudem and Kudhunu schools under Dummagudem and Charla mandals respectively.

The water bell concept was earlier introduced in Kerala and Karnataka States to help children drink enough water during their hours spent in school.

The teachers added that the aim of water bell was to make students drink enough water every day without fail and see to it that they don't fall prey to several health complications that arise due to intake of less water and dehydration.
