Hanamkonda: All the divisions in the Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation (GWMC) would be extensively covered by him to elicit information about the problems faced by the people, Warangal West MLA D Vinay Bhaskar said.

Speaking at a meeting here on Friday, he told the TRS cadres to focus on membership drive. "A large number of beneficiaries of the State government welfare schemes are willing to take TRS membership voluntarily by paying Rs 100 membership fee," he said, referring to the importance of new blood in the party cadre.

"It was decided to conduct Basti Bata programme from July 3 to get information about the hardships faced by the people," Vinay Bhaskar said. He told the Corporators to bury the hatchet if there is any among them and work together for the development of the city.

He came down heavily on BJP and Congress for politicising every issue. "The people rejected BJP and Congress and it was evident in recent elections held to Assembly, Panchayat and Parishad polls. The people clearly reposed their faith in KCR's governance. Despite this, BJP and Congress are resorting to mudslinging on TRS government," he stated.

There were umpteen numbers of gruesome incidents in the regimes of Congress and TRS, however, both the parties are raising a hue and cry over the recent incident in which a nine-month0old infant was molested and killed, Vinay Bhaskar said, stating that State government has concern towards the victim's parents.

Deputy Mayor Khaja Sirajuddin and KUDA chairman Marri Yadava Reddy were among others present.
