Woman crushed to death in Armoor

Armoor: A woman was killed when the two-wheeler she was driving was hit by a private bus in Armoor on Friday morning.
According to information, Padma (42), resident of Armoor, was going on her scooty. A private bus, transporting passengers of a marriage party, hit the scooty and Padma was crushed to death by the tyres. The driver was allegedly in an inebriated condition.
Sub-inspector Yadaiah Goud rushed to the scene and shifted the body to government hospital. Circle Inspector Raghavender said that the driver was taken into custody after registering a case and he was sent for medical test.
