Woman found dead,jewellery, cash missing in Nizamabad
A septuagenarian woman was found dead in her house on Tuesday night in Nizamabad city and gold and cash hidden in almirah were looted.
Nizamabad: A septuagenarian woman was found dead in her house on Tuesday night in Nizamabad city and gold and cash hidden in almirah were looted.
According to sources, Putti Sayamma (75) lives in Nyalakal road area in Nizamabad. She went to her eldest son, who lives in Hyderabad, and returned to her house on Tuesday night, after spending 15 days with her son.
After alighting from a bus in Nizamabad bus stand, Sayamma took an auto to reach her house. The auto driver left her in front of her house. On Wednesday morning, her body was found and all the cash and jewellery were missing.
Neighbours said that normally auto drivers will not come into that street where Sayamma lives and leave passengers on the road only. They suspected the auto driver, who took Sayamma from bus stand to her house, for leaving the old woman in front of her house. Even the victim's family members also suspecting the auto driver.
Suspecting the auto driver's involvement in the murder and theft case, police deployed canine squad and clues team and gathered evidence from the site. One of Sayamma's son lives in Qatar and another in Hyderabad.
