A woman was allegedly killed by her husband in wee hours on Monday at Alwal following a tiff between the two over a property.

The couple B Divya and Venkatesh was married in 2010 and have two sons aged five years and two years. It is learned that the couple had an argument over the sale of a plot at Achampet during which Venkatesh attacked Divya with an axe in a fit of rage. The women suffered multiple injuries and was dead on the spot.

The police registered a case based on the complaint lodged by the woman's family members.
