In the view of the lunar eclipse, Lord Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple in Yadadri will remain closed on July 16. The eclipse falls between 1.31 am to 4.29 am on July 17.

Due to the lunar eclipse around 1.19 am on July 16, the temple will be closed five hours prior to the eclipse i.e, at 6.30 pm. The temple will be opened for Samprokshan and other purificatory rituals at 5.30 am. The devotees will be allowed for darshan from 9 am on July 17.

Meanwhile, the authorities also cancelled the conduct of Arjitha sevas at the temple due to the eclipse.

On the other hand, Lord Venkateshwara Swamy temple in Tirumala will be also closed at 6 pm on July 16 and it will be opened for devotees from 11 am.
