Hyderabad: The magistrate of I Special court at Malkajgiri on Thursday convicted the accused H Prakshith (22) to undergo two years imprisonment and imposed fined of Rs 10,000 in a fatal road accident.

According to police, on 9 December 2016, the accused Prakshith and his friend K Shashidhar Reddy (19) were proceeding to Radhika crossroads from Dammaiguda on accused person's bike, when they reached Raghavendra hotel, Kapra the accused rider drove his motor cycle in rash and negligent manner while turning on curvy road as a result they both fell down on the road, the pillion rider Shashidhar Reddy received severe injuries and died in hospital while undergoing treatment on 13 December 2016.
