A three-month certificate course in military music (Band) began at the SRR College here on Friday. Organised by the economics department of the college, the police inspector Md Asmatullah inaugurated the event.

Addressing the gathering, he said that the military band has its significance in police-parades and military programmes.
“Students who joined the course would have an added skill to improve employment prospects,” he said, urging the students to make use of the opportunity.
The military band coordinator, M Madhava Rao and head of the department of economics M Madhava Rao were present at the inaugural.
