Vijayawada: The workers of Kesineni travels have staged a protest against TDP MP Kesineni Nani demanding to clear the pending salaries at Lenin Center in Vijayawada. The workers staged dharna, along with their family members.
On the occasion, the employees expressed their anguish that four years ago the company shut down its travel agency without any prior information and that even salaries were not paid.
The workers alleged that earlier when they raised the salaries issue, they were threatened with the authorities. They also said that MP Nani had mentioned in the election affidavit that salaries are pending to the workers.
The workers said that for three years they were waiting for their pending payments, and that at least now, they should clear the dues. Some employees have already approached the Labor Court on the issue.
