20,328 drivers to get cash benefit: Collector
District Collector Mohammad Imtiaz informed that as many as 20,328 vehicle owners would get a financial help of Rs 10,000 on October 4.
Vijayawada: District Collector Mohammad Imtiaz informed that as many as 20,328 vehicle owners would get a financial help of Rs 10,000 on October 4. In this regard, the Collector released stickers and pamphlets at the Dsitrict Collector's camp office here on Tuesday.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that under YSR 'Vahana Mithra' scheme and as per the instructions given by the State government, they have collected applications from the auto, taxi and maxi cab owners in the district through village and ward volunteers.
As many as 20,328 beneficiaries have been identified in the district and would receive Rs 10,000 on October 4 directly into their bank account. The District Collector said that the caption of the sticker was very effective: 'Maa Gurinchi Alochinchina Jaganannaku Thanks' and pasted the stickers on auto rickshaw.
