250 doctors join BJP in Krishna district: Kanna Lakshminarayana
As many as 250 doctors have joined the BJP under the leadership of former vice-chairman of Swacch Andhra Mission C L Venkata Rao.
Vijayawada: As many as 250 doctors have joined the BJP under the leadership of former vice-chairman of Swacch Andhra Mission C L Venkata Rao. BJP State president Kanna Lakshminarayana welcomed the ddoctors by presenting party shawls at a programme held at Penamaluru in Krishna district on Saturday.
Addressing the doctors, Lakshminarayana said the BJP government at the Centre government had introduced 130 welfare schemes. He also said the Centre contributed 75 per cent of funds for the YSR Kanti Velugu scheme. But the State governments claimed that the schemes was introduced by it.
The judiciary also gave a clean chit to the BJP, he recalled and added that the Central government solved many problems which hindered the development of the country.
He said that the Centre extended several schemes for the State development. The Centre introduced Ayushmanbhava scheme with 1,303 surgery facilities in 16,000 hospitals across. Former Ministers Kamineni Srinivasa Rao, S Aruna, Ravela Kishore Babu, Drs N Govindaraj Kumar, N D Srinivasa Rao, K P Ashok, V R Chowdary and several leaders were present.
