Kurnool: With the four new positive cases reported on Monday, the total number has gone up to 615 in the district. But the number discharges have also been increased. As many as 444 persons were discharged including 16 discharged on Monday. There are only 152 active positive cases that are under doctor's care. The mortality rate is stable with 19.
The District Collector, G Veera Pandiyan said that of the 16 discharges, 11 are men and 5 women. Interestingly 6 persons belong to Nandyal while 5 are from Kurnool and three of them are aged between 60 to 70 years and the remaining are aged between 24 to 50 years.
