A good idea that should be pursued by government

Linking of Aadhaar with liquor sales will be a good move. Anyone who can spend more than Rs 200 per day on liquor should be de-clared as in eligible for government schemes.

Currently, it is difficult to get the data of how much the guzzlers belonging to below poverty line invest in alcohol.

If the purchase of alco-hol is linked with the Aadhaar card, it would be easy to trace how much liquor each person consumes and the amount spent on it from the income he earns.
