Aditya students donate blood
About 60 NSS and Red Cross Society volunteers of Aditya Degree College donated blood in the blood bank of government headquarters hospital here on Friday.
Rajamahendravaram: About 60 NSS and Red Cross Society volunteers of Aditya Degree College donated blood in the blood bank of government headquarters hospital here on Friday.
Participating in the blood donation camp, municipal corporation additional commissioner NVV Satyanarayana Rao said that donating blood is an opportunity given by god to save others.
Blood can only be reproduced in our body and giving blood is a great thing and also donating once or twice also helps in sound health. Non-governmental organisations should come forward to bring awareness among people relating to blood donation and importance.
He congratulated the volunteers of NSS and Red Cross Society for their gesture. College NSS programme officer GVVN Rao, Prof J Ravi of Andhra University and others were present.
