Agriculture Commissioner Arun Kumar said ion Saturday that the exercise has been completed to ensure the implementation of the Raithu Bharosa Scheme. He added that the list of beneficiaries identified on the basis of land records included in all Gram Panchayats.
Eligible farmers get Rs. 12500. The first list of beneficiaries will be finalized by Sunday evening.
Arun Kumar said the govt would transfer money in Aadhaar-linked bank accounts on October 15. He said that Andhra Pradesh is the only state that provides investment assistance to tenant farmers.
The commissioner said that the chief minister has ordered the authorities not to hesitate to spend thousands of crores on welfare.
