AIMIM to hold public meeting against anti-CAA on Feb 24 in Hyderabad
The All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) will be organising a public meeting at Eidgarh Bilali Masab Tank on February 24 against CAA, NRC and NPR.

Permission was accorded to the meeting by the city police after the party chief made a representation on February 17. The meeting is scheduled to be held between 6 pm and 9 pm.
At an anti-CAA protest organised by the AIMIM party in Bengaluru, a young woman raised "Pakistan Zindabad" slogan in the presence of the party chief Asaduddin Owaisi. Denouncing the woman's slogan, Owaisi said that he did not agree with the woman.
Owaisi went on to say that the party did not have any connection with the woman. "We are for India and our entire drive is to save India, we no way support our enemy nation Pakistan," Owaisi said.
The AIMIM chief further asked the police to look into the matter seriously and take action against the woman who was not in the list of speakers.
