Konaseema area is an island having Bay of Bengal on East side and rivers on the other three sides.
Speaking to The Hans India here on Tuesday, he said lot of scope is there to develop industries relating to agriculture, coconut, aqua culture, oil and gas and opportunities to develop water based tourism, spiritual tourism etc. Employment opportunities can be generated by developing the area.
Drinking water problem, construction of bridges to improve road connectivity, strengthening of government hospitals with latest medical equipment, cold storage units to store marine wealth along the sea coast, construction of jettis, etc will be taken up on priority basis. In addition, Kotipalli-Narsapur railway line also be given priority for its speedy completion, he said.
As a former officer of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation, efforts will be made to get funds from ONGC, he stated. ``The people are receiving the party well and getting tremendous response from them, Corruption can be eradicated with questioning only and party president Pawan Kalyan is appealing every one to inculcate the habit of questioning. Pawan Kalyan can only give a stable, corrupt free, and transparent administration,'' Sekhar said.
The people believed Pawan Kalyan and ready to see him as Chief Minister who can only give effective governance, he said and appealed to the people to vote for him to serve them. DMR Sekhar said that he has plans to get funds from the central and state governments to develop the area and assured to be available to the people of Parliamentary Constituency at any time.
