As the capital region farmers' concerns have reached to 50th day, the former chief minister and TDP national president Nara Chandrababu Naidu will visit the capital villages on Tuesday to express his solidarity to the farmers.

As the capital region farmers' concerns have reached to 50th day, the former chief minister and TDP national president Nara Chandrababu Naidu will visit the capital villages on Tuesday to express his solidarity to the farmers. With today being the 50th day, the farmers of the capital are going to hold innovative protests such as making handicrafts, Vanta Varpu, etc. The farmers will hold Deeksha at Mandadam and Tulluru while the relay hunger strike continues at Velgapudi.

Despite the agitation from the farmers of capital region Amaravati, the centre has denied its intervention in the capital issue stating it to be the state's matter. The Minister of State for Home affairs Nithyanand Rai in his reply in parliament on Tuesday has expressed his helplessness in the capital of state issue. He said it is state government's wish to locate the capital.

On the other hand, the Telugu Desam MP, who raised the concerns of farmers and the police act towards the protesters in parliament, also faced a backlash from the centre. The central home ministry has made clear that it is the state's responsibility to monitor law and order issues.
