Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy issued notices in this regard at a review meeting on a Sand policy held on Wednesday. The AP Mineral Development Corporation (APMDC) has issued GO.

With the heavy rains continuing from the last two months, it has been difficult to excavate the sand. So the govt ordered the officials to limit the disposal of sand. The procedure will be reviewed after three months.

It is noted in GO that the in-charge of the village secretariate would be appointed the village volunteer at the sand reach to supervise the sand operations.
