With the outbreak of Covid-19 positive cases in Andhra Pradesh, the state Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan has made a special appeal to the people over the precautionary measures to avoid the spread of the virus.
Vijayawada: With the outbreak of Covid-19 positive cases in Andhra Pradesh, the state Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan has made a special appeal to the people over the precautionary measures to avoid the spread of the virus.
In his message, the Governor told the people to follow all the precautionary measures as advised by the medical professionals and appealed to remain at home and avoid unnecessary travel.
He said to wash hands frequently, clean them with hand sanitizer, cover the face with masks in case anyone experience symptoms of fever, cough and cold.
Clean the surfaces which come with the human contact, maintain social distance, avoid gathering in groups and take care of elderly people and kids, Governor said.
He further said that there is no need to panic, if anyone has the symptoms, he advised them to immediately contact the call center and approach the doctors at designated test centers set up by the state government.
Governor appealed to avoid visiting religious places till the situation becomes normal. By taking necessary precautionary measures, we can win the war against novel coronavirus together and protect ourselves, our families, our society and our nation, he said.
