APSRTC to run 3,607 special buses for Sankranti

Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) to operate a total of 3,607 buses to cater the rush during Sankranti festival.
Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) to operate a total of 3,607 buses to cater the rush during Sankranti festival. The buses will be operated from January 8 to 13 from neighbouring states like Telangana, Karnataka and Chennai to Hyderabad.
Of the total 3,607 buses, 433 will be operated from Bengaluru, 133 from Chennai, 201 from various districts in Andhra Pradesh to Vijayawada and 551 to Visakhapatnam. And other 1,038 buses will be run between the districts.
Officials said that the special buses are arranged in the return journey to not to cause inconvenience to the passengers during the festival season. They also hoped the passengers travel safe and secure on the RTC buses to reach their homes and celebrate the festival.
