Atchannaidu files nomination for Tekkali Assembly seat
Sitting MLA and Minister K Atchannaidu filed nomination papers on behalf of TDP for Tekkali Assembly segment on Wednesday. He reached Tekkali revenue divisional office from his native village Nimmada in Kotabommali mandal with a huge rally.
Srikakulam: Sitting MLA and Minister K Atchannaidu filed nomination papers on behalf of TDP for Tekkali Assembly segment on Wednesday. He reached Tekkali revenue divisional office from his native village Nimmada in Kotabommali mandal with a huge rally.
About 60,000 people attended for his nomination. Earlier, he offered prayers at Kottammathalli temple at Kotabommali mandal centre and started with a huge rally. He submitted his nomination to returning officer S Bhaskar Reddy. Srikakulam TDP sitting MP K Rammohan Naidu, mandal level leaders of the segment attended on the occasion. The leaders came in a procession in tractors, mini vans, cars, autos and other vehicles engaged by the party leaders.
As a result, police diverted traffic on the NH-16 towards Palasa and Srikakulam. So far, from TDP two candidates filed nominations for Palasa and Tekkali Assembly segments and one candidate filed nomination from YSRCP for Etcherla segment. K.Atchannaidu, K.Rammohan Naidu in a huge rally at Tekkali.
