Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Naval Command Vice- Admiral Atul Kumar Jain, Commissioner of Police Rajeev Kumar Meena and Chairman of Avanthi Group of Institutions and Minister for Tourism M Srinivas Rao lighted the lamp. M Srinivas Rao addressed the students about the importance of democracy and the importance of the English language and communication skills. He added success would be possible only with strong determination, self- motivation and hard work.
Vice-Admiral Atul Kumar Jain appreciated the chairman of Avanthi Institutions for connecting the rural youth through their institutions. The CP and CEO of Schemax Ravi Eswarapu insisted on the skills required for the young graduates to meet industry needs. Later,Tollywood singer Deepu entertained the gathering with his top hits. Managing directors, students, teaching and non-teaching staff and students of the institution attended the function.
