'Bhimili Utsav' poster released in Visakhapatnam
Minister for Tourism and Youth Advancement M Srinivasa Rao released a poster on the ‘Bhimili Utsav’ to be held on November 9 and 10.
Visakhapatnam: Minister for Tourism and Youth Advancement M Srinivasa Rao released a poster on the 'Bhimili Utsav' to be held on November 9 and 10. District Collector V Vinay Chand, GVMC Commissioner G Srijana, VMRDA Commissioner P Koteswara Rao and District Tourism Officer Purnima Devi were present at the poster launch on Wednesday.
Speaking to the media on the occasion, the Minister recalled that exports used to be done from Bhimili in ancient times and it was the second oldest Municipality in the country. Adorned with beautiful beaches and green hills, Bhimili was now on the fast-track of development. He said that Visakha Utsav and Araku Utsav would be held after the Bhimili Utsav.
District Collector V Vinay Chand explained about the activities to be undertaken as part of Bhimili Utsav to be conducted at Tagarapuvalasa and Bheemunipatnam on the two days of the utsav.
