BJP pays rich tributes to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in Ongole
The Prakasam district unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party has paid rich tributes to the first deputy prime minister and home minister of independent India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, as part of his 144th birth anniversary celebrations by garlanding his photograph in the district office on Thursday.

The district BJP president PV Krishna Reddy said that Sardar Patel is the mastermind behind the idea of integral India by joining of princely states into the independent nation. He said that the steel man led the talks with the princely states and convinced them to his idea to be part of the country to become a great nation.
The minority morcha AP president Khalifatulla Basha said that the country is celebrating national integrity day on the birthday of Sardar Patel to remember his services and pay homage to the great leader.
The district general secretary Seggem Srinivasa Rao, OBC district president Tanikonda Suresh Yadav, North Indian district convener Bhagat Vinod, state executive body member Kommu Srinu, Venkat, Yogaiah Yadav and others also participated in the program.
