Body of kidnapped boy found in quarry

Guntur : Police found the body of Bukya Sai Satvik, 6, who was kidnapped in Macherla town two days ago, in a quarry pit on the outskirts of Macherla on Thursday. He went out for playing near his house at Nehru Nagar on April 22 and did not return.

His family members suspected that he might have been kidnapped by someone and his father Venkateswara Naik lodged a complaint with the Kandla Gunta police on April 23. Police suspect that the kidnappers might have killed the boy and threw it into the quarry pit.

Based on the information, Sai Satvik's parents rushed to spot and identified the body. They were inconsolable in their grief. A case has been registered and investigation is on.
