On this occasion, Naidu and his wife Bhuvaneswari took part in special pujas while pundits blessed them. Later, the former Chief Minister unveiled the statue of party founder N T Rama Rao on the office premises and hoisted the flag of the Telugu Desam Party.

The party workers raised slogans wishing that Chandrababu Naidu should become Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh again. Naidu also spent some time at his chamber. A large number of leaders and party workers met him and wished him all the best. The party building premises was overcrowded with party workers while leaders also faced a tough time to enter the chamber of Chandrababu Naidu.

Kadapa district organising secretary Govinda Reddy donated Rs 5 lakh while MLC P Ashok Babu contributed Rs 1.75 lakh to party fund. Besides, Naidu conducted the TDP legislature party meeting with MLCs, MLAs and the senior leaders at the party office.

They discussed the strategy to be adapted during the forthcoming Assembly session. Naidu asked the party MLAs to expose the failures of the YSR Congress government by raising people's issues in the Assembly. He said that it was not correct to restrict the Winter Session of the State Assembly only to one week.

"The YSR Congress government failed to implement its promises and cheated people. The State suffered due to the unruly decisions of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. All the issues should be discussed in the Assembly session," he said. He also pointed out that the TDP government has taken up several development works and introduced various welfare schemes.

But all of them were stalled by the YSRCP government with a revenge attitude, he said. TDP State president Kimidi Kala Venkata Rao, TDP floor leader in Legislative Council Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, Deputy floor leader in State Assembly K Atchannaidu, former Ministers Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy, P Narayana, P Pulla Rao, MLAs G Butchaiah Chowdary, N Ramanaidu, Guntur MP Galla Jayadev, Srikakulam MP K Rammohan Naidu, MLA Karanam Balaramkrishna Murthy and several other leaders were present.
