While Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has been highlighting the failures of Election Commission in conducting the elections, parties like YSRCP, BJP and TRS have been criticising him for political gains, says the MLC Dokka Manikya Vara Prasad
Guntur: MLC and TDP candidate for Prattipadu Assembly constituency Dokka Manikya Vara Prasad urged the people to support Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu who is fighting to protect democratic values.
Addressing a press meet here on Monday, he said that during the recent Assembly elections, EVMs were stuck at several polling booths and recalled that as many as 25 EVMs were stuck in Prattipadu Assembly constituency from where he contested. He criticised that the Election Commission has failed to conduct the elections properly and felt that polling should have been conducted for two days. He said vote is powerful weapon to change the society.
Vara Pasad said that while Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is fighting against the Election Commission failures, the YSRCP, BJP and TRS parties are criticising the Chief Minister for gaining a political mileage and warned that voters will teach a lesson to these parties in the elections.
He expressed confidence that TDP will get more seats and form the government and Chandrababu Naidu will become Chief Minister for another term. Members of Self Help Groups, pensioners and farmers voted in favour of TDP in the recent elections, he said.
