Tirupati: Chandragiri Railway Station to be developed as Terminal

Tirupati: Railway Board Chairman Vinod Kumar Yadav has assured that they will consider the proposal to develop Chandragiri station as a terminal to decongest Tirupati station.
Responding to the memorandum submitted to him by government whip and Chandragiri MLA Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy to develop and expand Chandragiri station, he immediately spoke to the Collector over the phone and decided to conduct a joint survey by state government and Railways to take the further course.
He said that Tirupati smart railway station project is pending with state government and RLDA will invite tenders as soon they get clearance in this regard. South Central Railway General Manager Gajanan Malya, DRM Alok Tiwari and others were present.
