Chess team selections on May 26
Krishna District Chess Association (KDCA) secretary D Srihari on Thursday said that selection trials will be held for chess players on May 26 at Sri Kanyaka Parameswari kalyana mandapam, Gannavaram to select a team to represent in the state tournament.
Vijayawada: Krishna District Chess Association (KDCA) secretary D Srihari on Thursday said that selection trials will be held for chess players on May 26 at Sri Kanyaka Parameswari kalyana mandapam, Gannavaram to select a team to represent in the state tournament.
The selection trials will be organised jointly by KDCA and Just for Kids Playschool, Gannavaram. The selection trials will be held for age groups Under 7, 9, 11, 13, 15 and 17 and two players each from boys and girls will be selected. The selected players will represent the district at the State level Chess Tournament which will be held at Anantapur from June 7 to 9.
Interested players should bring Chess Board and clock to the above mentioned address by 8:30 am and register their names. Players will be given prizes at the selection trials, said Srihari. He further said for more details interested players can call 9700775220 / 9849407772 .
