Chirala: The St Ann's College of Engineering and Technology in Chirala has completed the skill development training for the Andhra Pradesh Social Welfare Residential School from Veligonda in association with the Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation, announced the college secretary Vanama Ramakrishna Rao and correspondent S Lakshmana Rao.
The college principal Dr P Ravikumar said that 40 students from the AP Social Welfare Residential School were selected for the Siemens Training Program by the Andhra Pradesh Skill Development Corporation and are trained from March 2 to 11.
He said that the selected students were trained on refrigeration, air conditioning and home appliances maintenance by the corporation. The students who successfully completed the training were given certificates by the authorities.
The in charge of the APSSDC TSDI center Dr S Indraneel, trainer Pandurangarao and other staff also participated in the certificate presentation program.
